Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

How do I start working with REM?

It starts with a clarity call. You apply through our Apply Here page, we get on a call to talk through where your brand stands and what you actually need, and from there we put together a proposal. Once that's signed, your project moves into a Brand Blast-Off.

It's an intensive interview, part specific questions, part instinct. We pull things out of you that you might not expect, the stuff that's already there but hasn't been named yet, and use it to build a brand that actually holds together. Depending on what you've selected during our proposal review, it covers your brand style, your content marketing strategy, or both.

What is a Brand Blast-Off?

REM works with solo agents and teams, though we support brokerages too. The real common thread is agents who understand that a brand is more than a logo and a color palette.

Who do you work best with?

Every consultation happens online, so we work with agents wherever they're located. REM does not film your content.

Do you work with agents outside a specific area?

I already have branding. Can you refresh it instead of starting from scratch?

Yes. We can start with a brand audit or a consultation and build from what you've already got instead of starting over.

REM takes on a limited number of content management clients at a time, so we'd encourage you to get on a clarity call to see if we're a good fit.

How far out are you booking?

The Work Itself

How long does a typical project take?

It starts with your intensive interview, the Brand Blast-Off itself. After that, depending on which services you've selected, most projects wrap in seven to fourteen days. The exact timeline comes down to scheduling: your vibe check call, and how quickly revisions come back.

The Brand Blast-Off is a strategic interview, the call where we pull everything we need to build what you've selected. From there it depends on your package: brand strategy, content strategy, newsletter templates, real estate marketing templates, social media management, newsletter management, or some combination. Almost every project starts here, because this call is where we get the information that shapes the rest of it.

What's actually included?

What's expected of me during the process?

If you've already got an established brand, we'll likely ask for your existing marketing materials or a mood board to work from. During calls, we ask that you're present and in a quiet place, free from interruptions, since so much of the Brand Blast-Off depends on what comes up in that conversation. We also expect clients to know their own state and brokerage compliance requirements.

After Launch

Do you offer ongoing support, or is this a one-time thing?

Both, depending on what you sign up for. Content management clients get an ongoing package starting at six months. This includes analytics, reporting, and adjustments along the way. One-time services like our strategy services or custom template creation wrap once they're done.

We offer continued support if you need to get clear on direction and might prepare a new proposal based on your needs.

Content management runs on a six or twelve month package, with analytics and reporting built in so we're adjusting based on what's actually working, not guessing. Vibe checks and Alignment Calls are how we stay in sync during the initial build-out and between the bigger check-ins.

What does ongoing support actually look like month to month?

Can I pause or cancel ongoing services?

Content management runs on a minimum six-month commitment, discounted at twelve months, and we build it to run smoothly enough that pausing shouldn't come up. If something does come up on your end, reach out to us directly and we'll figure it out together.

Systems We Use

How do you handle my social media content management?

We manage it through Rella, which handles the planning, scheduling, and posting side of things so you're not the one hitting publish at 9pm.

How do you handle my newsletter management?

Newsletters go out through FloDesk. We collect your content, write and design your newsletter, send you a draft for edits, then the rest is on us!

What format are the real estate marketing templates in?

Everything's built in Canva, so you're not stuck needing design software you don't already have. You can go in, swap your own photos and details, and the templates stay yours to keep using long after a project wraps.

Toolkit & Resources

Are the free resources on your Toolkit page only for clients?

No. The Newsletter Launch Checklist, Marketing Strategy Organizer, and Brand Style Guide are free for anyone, client or not. Just pop in your email and they're yours.

Do I have to use the vendors in your discount codes?

The vendors featured on our Toolkit page are just tools we actually use ourselves and think are worth your time. Use the code if it's useful, skip it if it's not. For certain services, we do exclusively work with certain vendors as part of our systems, so those aren't swappable.

Branding Bootcamp
& Courses

Branding Bootcamp is four weeks, eight sessions, built around your brand and content strategy using our brains, our hearts, and yes, AI too. Each week runs two sessions: one built around new concepts and instruction, followed by homework we call integration. Then a hot seat coaching session, where you bring that homework back for feedback and present what you built. It's hands-on the whole way through, new concepts each week paired with real AI prompts and marketing work you actually put out into the world.

What is Branding Bootcamp?

Join the waitlist to hear first. We also run Branding Bootcamp specifically for brokerages and local offices that want to bring it to their whole team.

When is it coming back?

Does REM teach anything else, and how do I learn more about that?

Yes, an in-person Branding Series workshop. Email Winnie directly at winnie@remrealestatemarketing.com for dates and investment.

Investment

Every package is custom, so there isn't a flat number to post here. During your clarity call, we put together options based on what you actually need, then walk through them together on a proposal review call.
